Insurance and Billing
We are in network with CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, Aetna, GEHA , Optum, United Healthcare and their affiliated plans, also VA community care network (VACCN).
However, it is your responsibility to understand whether your insurance has limits on the services you can receive. Explanation of benefits is never a guarantee of payment. We will file your claims with your insurance carriers.
As required by insurance carriers, you are responsible for the payment of deductibles, co-payments and non-covered services at the time of your visits. For your convenience, we accept cash, check, and all major credit cards, including HSA/FSA for payment.
Payment at Time of Services
You will be required to pay the estimated cost of services (including copays, deductible, coinsurance, etc.) at time of service. Financial arrangements must be made prior to services if you are unable to pay the balance in full. Self-pay patients are expected to pay their balance in full at the time of service. If the insurance payments and the amount of your payment exceed the amount owed for services, the difference will be refunded back to you.
If you are uninsured or experiencing financial difficulty, please call us at (240)-705-8228 for cost estimates and to discuss possible financial arrangements.
Canceled Appointments
If you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please contact our office at least 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time to reschedule. If you do not notify us prior to missing a scheduled appointment, you will be considered a “no-show” patient and a $25 charge will be added to your account.
